I am trained as a computer engineer, and have used ML for anomaly detection in maritime systems at AI Singapore. I have also taught Prototyping and Fabrication as a Graduate Student Instructor at UC Berkeley. I was a Machine Learning + Augmented Reality Creative Resident at Snap, Inc.
My past projects include a brain-computer interface for determining a baby's needs, a smart grill tong, and a rolling alarm clock.
I have won the Microsoft BotFest Hackathon, the MITidm Design Lab Challenge, and the MIT MEMSI championship.
As a UX consultant for clients like Asian Development Bank, I used design thinking methodologies and experiments for quantitative and qualitative insights. I also designed web and mobile UI for corporate clients.
As Product Development Lead and Co-Founder of Ring Theory, I designed, developed, and manufactured wearable devices and consumer products.
My designs have won the Singapore Design Award and SG Mark. I am a DesignSingapore scholar and associate.
I founded Ring Theory, Halogram, and Cuddle Tea.
I have also worked closely with startups and accelerators as senior officer at Enterprise Singapore and professional fellow at MassChallenge. I mentored 28 student teams from UC Berkeley, and my teams were ranked #1, #2, and #3 (out of hundreds) by Silicon Valley investors during demo day.
